Dr. Bastián González-Bustamante
Bastián is a post-doctoral researcher in Computational Social Science and a lecturer in Governance and Development at Leiden University, Netherlands. He holds a DPhil (PhD) in Politics from the University of Oxford, UK, and prior to that, he completed an MA in Political Science and a BA in Government at the Universidad de Chile.
He is also a lecturer in the School of Public Administration at the Universidad Diego Portales and serves as a research associate at the Training Data Lab.
His research interests lie at the intersection of comparative politics and government, with a primary focus on cabinets, political regimes, and civil services. Methodologically, his interests rely on applying quantitative text analysis, machine learning methods and causal inference strategies in comparative politics.
Dr. Diego A. Salazar-Morales
Diego is a tenured assistant professor at the Institute of Public Administration at Leiden University, Netherlands. His research focuses on how the career trajectories of politicians in central government influence the achievement of successful public policies in education, health, and fiscal policy in developing countries.
In 2023, Diego was sponsored by the British Academy of Social Sciences under the "Exceptional Talent" category for the position of Assistant Professor in Public Policy and Administration at Ulster University, UK/Ireland. He earned his first doctorate in Public Administration from King’s College London, UK, and obtained a second doctorate in Political Science from the Hertie School of Governance, Berlin. Diego received his Master’s degree in Public Policy and Administration from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) under the sponsorship of the prestigious Chevening Scholarship.

Cristiano Parra Duarte
Cristiano is a PhD candidate in Political Science at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), Brazil, with a scholarship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). Currently, he is a visiting research fellow at the Institute of Public Administration, Leiden University, Netherlands. He holds a Master's degree in Political Science from UFSCar, also funded by a FAPESP scholarship.
His research focuses on public policy at the intersection of political science and public administration. He is interested in public policy analysis, bureaucracy in the policy-making process, energy policies, and the public policy agenda.
Diego Aguilar
Diego serves as an adjunct researcher at the Training Data Lab. He holds an MA in Political Science from the Universidad de Chile, an MA in Global Politics from McMaster University in Canada, and a BA in Legal and Social Sciences from the Universidad Alberto Hurtado, Chile.
He is also a policy researcher at Indigenous Services Canada (ISC), part of the Canadian Federal Government.
Nando Verelst
Nando is a doctoral student in Management Sciences and a part-time lecturer of Business Analytics and Business Project at the Universidad Diego Portales, Chile. He holds an MA in Strategic Management, Leadership and Communication and a BA in Business Management from the Universidad de La Serena in Chile.
